I am a PIMS Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta. I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

I completed my PhD in Mathematics in May 2023 at Stony Brook University (New York), under the supervision of Alexander Kirillov Jr. Prior to that, I was an undergraduate student at National Taiwan University, where I majored in Mathematics.

My research lies at the intersection of pure mathematics, quantum physics, and theoretical computer science. While my primary focus is on quantum topology and quantum symmetries, I am also enthusiastic about their applications to quantum computation and topological phases of matter. My work explores a specific 4-dimensional topological quantum field theory and its connections to higher algebra, particularly through vertex operator algebras and quantum groups.
